In the first seven months of 2025, there have been XX reported physical assaults targeting Bitcoin $BTC holders. Known as "wrench attacks," this violent method of cryptocurrency theft may lead to a record-breaking year, driven by Bitcoin $BTC's rising market value, as noted by Chainalysis. With the current pace, this year could see nearly double the incidents compared to the previous high of XX attacks recorded in 2021 during the last bull market.
