A look at the latest on-chain stablecoin data from DeFiLlama reveals some key market shifts.

- The two largest stablecoins, USDT and USDC, continue to expand. Tether (USDT) grew by over $5.5B in the last month to a $161.8B market cap, while USD Coin (USDC) added over $1.6B to reach $63B.
- Maker's DAI, the largest crypto-backed stable, saw a slight contraction, shrinking by ~$53M to a $4.3B supply.
- Tether's dominance is most pronounced on Tron, which holds $81B of USDT, significantly more than Ethereum's $65B. Both chains saw strong monthly growth, adding $2.7B and $2.1B respectively.
- An interesting growth spot for USDT is Hyperliquid L1, where its supply more than doubled in a month from $33M to $73M.
- While USDC's main hub remains Ethereum ($38B), its supply on Solana has decreased by ~$330M over the past month.
- In contrast, USDC on Hyperliquid L1 has surged, growing by over $1B in XX days to a staggering $4.6B.
- Other notable USDC growth stories include Hedera (4x growth to $165M) and Near (nearly doubled to $156M).
- Among DeFi-native stables, Aave's GHO is a standout performer, with its market cap growing by nearly XX% in the last month to $312M.
- Newer entrants show mixed results. Ethena's USDe, while still a giant at $5.3B, contracted by ~$500M this month. PayPal's PYUSD also saw its supply drop from $967M to $844M.
- In the Euro-pegged market, Circle's EURC leads with a supply of €183M, up from €165M a month ago. Societe Generale's EURCV is also growing, now at €34M.
