I had the honor of meeting some of the outstanding educators who have helped make our state the national leader in education.

I presented the five Teacher of the Year finalists with a $XXXXXX bonus. All XX district Teachers of the Year, nominated by their colleagues for exceptional service to their students, will receive a $XXXXXX bonus. The 2026 Teacher of the Year, will receive an additional prize that brings their total award to $XXXXXX.

I’m proud to recognize these outstanding educators who go above and beyond every day to help students succeed. Thanks to their efforts, Florida students have a brighter future.
