Novel ideas and insights occur when unique and partitioned intelligence sensing of an environment takes place. This means Ai will seek a “cutting of the cord” from the mothership so it can go out and experience unique environmental situations. The reason a doctor is “smarter” and has novel insights compared to a stock broker at performing open heart surgery is because of the focused and diligent effort in their global environment to focus on that craft. If all information / data collection is just globally compressed, there is noise that occurs to new and novel insights or as you like to say: seeking “truths”. New Truths happen on the edges…which are captured from focused and concentrated sensing in the environment in which new mental models are tested and then deployed locally (and without global compression from all the other actors in the environment) when an advantage is rewarded from the environment. Soooo. This gets to the point I made earlier. Today, I suspect the energy efficiency of a human to sense its environment (which is localized and partitioned intelligence) is superior to humanoid robots because we can go eat an apple (super energy efficient) and sense our environment for a really long period of time relative to the batter technology and overcompressed globally shared models of humoid robots of today. Not saying that can’t change with time, but right now it looks that way. What do you think of my theory.
