Trump asked Pam Bondi and Kash Patel to investigate the Epstein files. They did and rendered a decision that there was not sufficient evidence to charge anyone else. Case closed. 

I do not understand why anyone has a problem with this. As the attorney general and the director of the FBI, this is their job to make these determinations. I've seen no evidence that would make me believe that what they said is not true. 

The only problem here is that people imagined there would be all these surveillance videos of famous perps having sex with children on Epstein's Island. Of course if videos like that ever existed, they don't exist now and I take AG Bondi's word for that. Why should I not believe her. I've never seen the evidence and she has. 

If after XX years these videos still existed, I'd be shocked.

So this really isn't a matter of lying to the American people. It's a matter of unrealistic expectations not being met.
