You’re comparing apples to oranges, Arpit.

UK, Brazil, and Australia may not have Tesla plants, but they have FTAs (Free Trade Agreements) or lower import duties on EVs.

India imposes 60–100% import duty on foreign EVs to protect its domestic manufacturing ecosystem… something even Elon Musk has criticized.

Tesla’s high cost in India isn’t just “tax burden”…. it’s import duty + GST + cess + lack of local assembly.

Want cheaper Teslas in India? 

Let Tesla invest and manufacture here instead of relying on CBU imports.

India isn’t a dumping ground for luxury tech. 🇮🇳
