The Slovenian Foreign Ministry announced that it will ban Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir from entering the country. The two will be declared persona non grata for their 'genocidal statements against Palestinians'.

Slovenia will be the first EU country to take such action.
