I support NPR and PBS and urge you to do the same. However, I believe federal funding for these organizations is no longer necessary. D.O.G.E. has shown that federal involvement often leads to waste. Cutting funding will push national and local organizations to eliminate operational inefficiencies and irrelevant programming. They can adopt advertising revenue while preserving journalistic independence. This change will also neutralize right-wing criticism, benefiting both sides. Many Republicans, Democrats, and Independents can donate to NPR and PBS. If people can raise $XXX billion to support Kamala's presidential campaign, they can also contribute to these organizations. There is a path forward. Will it cause changes? Yes. And in the end, that will be a good thing. I am just sorry that Big Bird was too scary for them.
