I do t have to coach in MLB. College coaches have to evaluate the same issues when recruiting players and our jobs depend on being right. If it helps my son does coach in pro ball. And he has access to a lot more data than you do on Baty. And we’ve had this conversation because so told him last offseason maybe the Jays should trade for Baty, get him out of NY and put him at 3B. He laughed and me and pulled up their entire file on Baty. Told me it would never happen and showed me why.
