Eswatini has accepted five deportees from the United States, even though none are from Eswatini.

The men are from Vietnam, Jamaica, Laos, Cuba, and Yemen, and were convicted of serious crimes like murder and child rape.

This is part of a U.S. program that sends deportees to other countries when their own won’t take them back.

They are being held in isolation and may later return to their home countries.
