5️⃣ The Actual Trade Proposal 1/2 :

The last time a player with 30+ home runs was traded at the MLB trade deadline was in 1997, when Mark McGwire, who had XX home runs, was traded from the Oakland Athletics to the St. Louis Cardinals. Keep in mind this isn't going to be an easy deal for anyone.

Kris Bryant in 2021 was the last real All-Star 3B moved on a contract year & even he was only sitting at XX Homeruns, we've all seen how Kris Bryant has turned out.

Although in 2023, Jake Burger was dealt at the deadline and was sitting at XX HR. He went on to play a very nice part in the postseason push for the Marlins.

So in theory, there isn't much of a track record for putting together a deal but we can certain try:
