1️⃣ The Problem: 3B Revolving Door 🚪

The Mets rank 17th in wRC+ (91) and 13th fWAR (1.0) from the 3B position in 2025.
Neither Brett Baty nor Mark Vientos has solidified the hot corner, combining for Inconsistent offense. 

- Baty has been a plus defender but the rollercoaster offensive woes continue to plague the young player from making it his position. 
- The small amount of Mauricio at 3rd has shown some optimism that he can platoon at the very least w/ Baty though his injury past + chase rate seem to be what the Mets are most worried about. 
- As of right now Mark Vientos unfortunately has played his way into more of a DH role w/ his deficiencies at the hot corner.
