PBS doesn’t get **$500 billion**.  
The **entire Corporation for Public Broadcasting** gets around **$465 million**—  with an M

That’s **0.01%** of the federal budget.

Meanwhile, fossil fuel companies get over **$10–50 billion/year** in U.S. subsidies,  
and they’re among the most profitable corporations in history.

So let’s be honest:  
This outrage isn’t about cost.  
It’s about *control*—  
They fear free thought more than free markets.
