Active addresses, much the same are hard to use as a guage since individual users can have dozens of addresses. For example, I have almost XX active addresses myself. Finally MVRV is heavily sentiment driven since MCap/Realized cap will ebb and flow with supply/demand that both have a heavily sentiment driven reflexive dynamic.
