🇺🇸 The Justice Department has fired the prosecutor who handled the Epstein and P.Diddy cases - Washington Post.

Yesterday, federal prosecutor Maureen Comey, who had worked in the federal prosecutor's office for about a decade and handled the Epstein and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell cases, as well as the Sean "Diddy" Combs case for human trafficking for the purposes of exploitation, was fired without explanation.

The notice of dismissal was reportedly signed by a "political appointee" in the Justice Department, Francie Hakes, and Comey received it yesterday at the end of the work day, and her colleagues escorted her out of the building in solidarity.
