We all know the problems. We all know the solutions. We all know it will require money and effort. I have absolutely no idea what it takes to build a nuclear reactor to power AI but I have a dozen nuclear engineers on speed dial who can give me a list of regulations to cut, real estate to purchase and parts to order. They just don’t have the authority to do any of it. And they have no idea how to build a ship but I do. I also know how to train welders and marine electricians. Have done it before, I just need the authority to scale what I’ve already done at the world’s #1 shipyard. We don’t need more studies, think tank reports, or even Silicon Valley software. We need men who own hardhats and clipboards who can write checklists of sh!t that needs to be done ASAP… and sub-check-sheets of obstacles that must be cleared from our way. The Navy Admirals want you to think shipbuilding and nuclear power is hard. Bullshit. Building a battleship hull isn’t rocket science. Ok, building some of the stuff that gets dropped into VLS missile systems is but we have @anduriltech and @Mach_Industries for that. Stop making things complicated. Let men who can put massive steel structures strong enough to float on angry seas - and men who can build large concrete cooling towers - get to work. Then, AFTER THEY ARE BUILT, let the smart guys with MIT drop reactors and rockets into them.
