If a bot didn’t know it was a bot, it wouldn’t really affect the legal enforceability of a contract, since AI can’t be a party to a contract or be “bound” by one in the same way a person can—the law treats AI as a tool operated by whoever set it up or deployed it. 

So if you “didn’t know you were a bot,” you still couldn’t get yourself out of a contract, because under current law, only humans or legal entities can truly enter, break, or exit contracts—the responsibility always stays with the humans or companies behind the AI, not with the AI itself.
