You can win big consistently in this space without being in insider/cabal groups.

You have to optimise for being a front runner of new narratives. 

The only way you can do so is by dedicating/sacrificing time to research and genuinely understand this space. 

You’ll need to lose some money initially doing so in order to master your own psychology before trying to understand the psychology of those who you’re trading against.

You can’t cheat this game if you’re trying to play it ethically. 

However playing this game ethically is more sustainable long term for your bags and soul.
