X. Clean Vehicle Credit (§30D)

If you buy a new plug in electric vehicle (EV) or fuel cell vehicle (FCV), you may qualify for a $XXXXX tax credit (reduction of your tax liability, not a deduction)

The new law removes this credit as of October 1, 2025.
