The Disney HoloTile floor is an omnidirectional treadmill-like surface that allows users to walk in any direction within a virtual or augmented reality environment without physically moving from their spot. 

It's essentially a modular system of rotating and tilting hexagonal tiles that can be configured to move users across the surface in any direction, creating a feeling of continuous movement within a confined space.
