He was co-leading the "Devils on the Run" tour, which featured the infamous Raggedy Ann doll widely believed to be cursed and known from The Conjuring horror franchise. The doll's dark legend dates back to 1970, when a Connecticut nursing student reported unexplained activity after receiving it as a gift. Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, later depicted in the Hollywood series, took custody of the doll and stored it in their now-closed occult museum. Rivera’s body was discovered alone in his hotel room, with the coroner’s office ruling out foul play.
