In response to the claims made by US President Donald Trump saying that he thinks China will soon sentence people to death for fentanyl manufacturing and distribution, and he expressed optimism about the prospects of reaching an agreement with Beijing on illicit drugs, FM spokesperson Lin Jian said that China has repeatedly stated that fentanyl is the US’ problem, not China’s. The responsibility lies in the US itself.
