You don’t lose because you’re bad, but because the chain couldn’t keep up. Now think about this: Your game doesn’t send every move on-chain in real time. All the logic and battles play out off-chain. Then a single proof gets submitted that says: “Yes, this game round happened exactly like this.” To be clear, Succinct hasn’t announced any official gaming integrations yet. But if you look at what SP1 actually does, it proves arbitrary logic, runs programs in parallel, and verifies across chains. That’s not just good for rollups. That’s the kind of backbone fast, verifiable games could build on. It’s not a stretch to imagine it. If the next wave of games, or even existing ones, want proof without performance loss, SP1 might be the prover they need. I’ve rage-quit enough on-chain games to know the feeling, e.g: @LumiterraGame
Click, lag, transaction pending, then game over.
You don’t lose because you’re bad, but because the chain couldn’t keep up.
Now think about this:
Your game doesn’t send every move on-chain in real time.
All the logic and battles play out off-chain.
