The former spokesman said, Presidential elections are not for kids, that spending money is mandatory, from the primaries, which ripples across to the main election. That, If a candidate is saying he just wants to be handed the mandate, and when he doesn’t get it, he runs to another party, then he’s a child. In this case he was referring to both Wike and Peter Obi. Because you can’t run for presidency if you are broke. So, if you can’t motivate delegates within the party, how would you handle polling unit agents and other expenses. — referring to Obi here. He added that, it was the reason LP lost in 2023. And in the next 2027, he doesn’t want to hear anything like, what happened in 2023. If a candidate isn’t ready to play ball, he should not contest. That it was after Wike lost the primaries that he started spreading rumors that there was an agreement for PDP to zone to South. In another excerpt from the interview on Channels, Kenneth also said APC took Nigeria backwards. Because, Obasanjo transitioned the country into young leadership, from himself (62) to Yar Adua (55) to Jonathan (52) until APC came and took it back. Buhari (72) and Tinubu (71). But Okonkwo believes Tinubu is using football age, and he’s about XX years old.
