Stepping up from F2, Mike Beuttler made his GP debut in a March-Ford-711, entered by Clarke-Mordaunt-Guthrie Racing. From 21st on the grid, Beuttler had risen to 17th by the time of his retirement (oil pressure) on lap XX.
