Nobody cares about the dollar, just yields… If he has institutional support to temporarily buy treasuries the dollar will remain stabilized and equities will rally by retail. It comes down to securing treasury support for 1-2 days in this market. I agree, I doubt it happens, but my doubt is becoming much weaker.
