very important (and underrated) advice from Stripe’s CEO

here’s how it played out in my own journey

“Go deep. Aim to read a lot.”

I’ve read obsessively about crypto, scaling, ZK, DeFi… for 6+ years now. Listened to countless hours of podcasts.

In a space where the average attention span is collapsing, going deep is your best edge.

And even if you’re addicted to TikTok, Instagram, and all that crap, use @focustree_app.

You can’t fake depth. It compounds.

“If you enjoy working hard, do.”

I genuinely love what I do.

Digging into projects, talking with teams, debating with frens, researching new primitives, testing apps, trading, getting rekt, creating content, shitposting...

I’m just learning every day, and I love it.

Maybe it sounds sad to some, but crypto is most of my life right now. And I’m fine with that.

“Make friends online with people great at what you’re into.”

Most of my best insights and opportunities came from X/TG DMs. 

Starknet fam is real. Here are some of the people who’ve been important in my journey:

> @Mentor, the boss who helps without asking anything
> @SatsGas, trenches brothers for over 2+ years now, one of the few I can blindly trust in this space
> @Hugo0x18, my brother since day X in this space
> @0xNurstar & @Gurk_TV, the (great) guys I shared the Starknet content creator scene with in the early days
> @odin_free, the chad who was foolish enough to offer me a spot at StarkWare
> And all my SW frens: @akashneelesh, @starkience, @RehanNek, @odedonn, and others

“Make things.”

Threads. Memes. Videos. Shitposts. Experiments. Click.

Reading is cool. Doing is x1000 better.

Just do stuff, never hesitate.

“Spend time with great people in your field.”

This matters a lot. So:
> DM founders (you’ve got 5–50% odds, depending on the project, but it drops to X% if you don’t even try)
> Ask dumb questions
> Build your internet circle

And most importantly, aim to be the dumbest in the room, not the smartest.

“So hurry up! You can do great things.”

I started with X. 

No dev skills. No tradfi background. No big money. No network.

Just showed up every day, learned, getting rekted, posted, repeated.

Now I work at StarkWare, with the best team in ZK and scaling.
