Yes, be honest, Ahmed al-Sharaa didn’t speak like a new Syria. He spoke like al-Julani in a suit, not a statesman. He rushed to condemn Israel’s response but said nothing about the reason behind it. Nothing about the massacres that forced action. The slaughter of Druze civilians wasn’t called what it was: genocide, ethnic cleansing. No, he reduced it to a vague “violation.” He knew exactly who committed it, jihadist thugs embedded in segments of the Syrian army, but chose cowardice, calling it “sedition.” We’ve seen this trick before. After a ceasefire, they’ll pretend it wasn’t them. In fact, he already laid the groundwork, blaming anonymous “foreign planners” like some third-rate conspiracy theorist. That’s the Levantine tradition: never take responsibility, always blame the outsider. And the easiest target? Israel, the one place where #Druze and Muslims live with rights, dignity, and safety they would never trade for a Syrian or Palestinian ID. Enough lies. Enough cowardice. For once, say the truth. In just XX hours, XXX women, children, elders, and youth were butchered. Sniped, stabbed, bombed in schools, hospitals, and places of worship. This wasn’t a “violation.” It was a crime against humanity. Bringing Islamist terrorists to justice won’t break #Syria. Hiding them already has. Accountability is not sedition. It is salvation.
