I started my investment career in ‘74 as an assistant portfolio manager in the Pension Investment Department of Mercantile Safe Deposit & Trust Co. on Hopkins Plaza in downtown Baltimore. Three years later I moved over a couple of blocks to join Merrill Lynch. Through many bear markets and quick crashes I never lost my sense of humor…it was my father…life was never dull in the Brady household…I love you dad and I owe everything to you. Because it was you who took a risk after the war in ‘52 and brought your family over to the Middle East to work for a company called Aramco…I was six months old.
