The International Solar Alliance held a bilateral meeting with the delegation from the Kingdom of Bhutan, headed by Mr. Karma Penjor Dorji, Director General, Department of Energy, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, on the sidelines of the Seventh Regional Committee Meeting for the Asia-Pacific Region in Colombo.

Bhutan shared progress on its Country Partnership Framework, including ongoing solar roadmap development, plans for mini-grid deployment in remote mountainous areas, and green hydrogen generation. Both sides look forward to the upcoming ISA Mission to Bhutan, which will include high-level visits to the STAR-Centre.
