Epstein Quietly Exits Towers Financial:

While Steven Hoffenberg was arrested in 1993, investigations into Towers Financial had begun earlier.

Epstein left the company before the collapse, likely around 1991–1992, as SEC scrutiny intensified.

Despite being described by Hoffenberg as the “architect” of the Ponzi scheme, Epstein was never charged.
