The Alephium team has always made it clear that there is room for other DAOs, or even a fully decentralized DAO. Alephium is for everyone. The current DAO has always been open to suggestions, but community engagement has been rather low, which is why some felt that a decentralized DAO might be coming a bit too early. A decentralized DAO thrives on active community members, even though it often sparks a lot of discussion. However, it gives more power to the community. There is the option to create a new DAO or to restructure the current one, shifting more toward community-driven voting. For example, through the use of tokens or NFTs. Naturally, whales would then have more influence, but this could potentially be limited through a tiered system. A platform would also need to be developed to enable all of this. Ecosystem funds are intended for such initiatives, and anyone can submit proposals that the community would vote on. I'm staying neutral on this, but I would love to see the community’s opinion through a vote. All suggestions and further input are welcome.
