Walter Magaya's Empty Promise to Women’s Football?

Less than a year ago, Prophet Walter Magaya made headlines after pledging a massive USD $XXXXXXX to sponsor women’s football in Zimbabwe. He even claimed the league would be renamed to the Heart League in honor of the sponsorship.

Fast forward to today nothing has materialized. No money, no support, no Heart League.

Once again, a bold promise made to uplift women in sport has turned out to be just talk. How long will people continue to believe these publicity stunts without accountability?
