Indian Army to the rescue of pilgrims at Amarnath Yatra route in Kashmir

Due to incessant rains a situation emerged last night where a large number of Yatris were stuck between Bararimerg and Rayalpatri along the Northern Route of Yatra. Indian Army deployment at Bararimerg came into action and provided shelter to held up Yatris while providing basic comforts.

Also a number of critically sick patients were stuck between two slide areas at Rayalpatri. The QRTs acted as stretcher bearers and moved the patients to the Amb.
