Sunrise adopts modular blockchain architecture.

Of course, it has a DA Layer at L1. But, it has different features from Celestia, which is a representative modular blockchain.

This time, let's take a quick look at Sunrise from that perspective. There are two main differences.

1️⃣Data storage

Celestia writes all data on-chain. But Sunrise writes only meta data that ensures data integrity on-chain, and the other is stored and propagated in off-chain storage.

It's a design that pursues high throughput and cost efficiency while keeping security.

2️⃣Consensus mechanism

Celestia is PoS, But Sunrise is PoL. the PoL is a mechanism that uses the liquidity used for token swaps to ensure data security.

Collecting liquidity is essential for Sunrise, which aims to the Interliquidity, and is the optimal consensus mechanism. In addition, this liquidity is used to realize fee abstraction, any token that are provided liquidity can be used to pay transaction fees.

🦊There seem to be also some differences in performance, but I'd like to comment on them after the mainnet release.

And rather than which is better, the projects compete with each other while focusing on each respective goals. The result is an even more expanding ecosystem, which is one of my joys of participating into the crypto industry.🥳
