After making a thread on $DUCK, I found this hidden on the timeline 

First off, why? 

What's the benefit of ONLY using the ticker? 

There will be tons of $DUCK copycats (it's a generic word), so using the handle would point people to the right account. 

Second, why is this hidden in a reply somewhere? 

Now I'm gonna remake my thread and remove the handles...
