What is happening to India ?

I had been taught in school that :
Hind desh ke niwaasi, sabhi jan ek hain
Rang roop bhesh bhaasha, chaahe anek hain
i.e.
All Indians are one, despite the colour of their skin, features, religion, and language

But some Maharashtrians are teaching us otherwise
