I’ve heard of VinFast but did not understand the competitive dynamics between them and $GRAB in Vietnam

The fact that Grab is somehow GAAP profitable in the midst of this competition is a pound the table moment on this thesis

People point to the lack of margins as no moat

In reality they need the creativity to see the ability to even have GAAP profits is MASSIVE in the competitive ecosystem that is SEA and regional consolidation will only inflect those margins and FCF

Incredible deep dive into Vietnam, I will also try to further go into some of these countries that aren’t discussed as much to see what Grab’s competitive standings are there
