Among the programs targeted for cuts in the White House rescissions package is the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the independent nonprofit created by Congress to distribute federal funds to noncommercial TV and radio stations across the U.S. 

CPB funds more than XXXXX public stations, many of which produce local news, music shows, and also buy national content from NPR and PBS.

@WmBrangham speaks to Tom Abbott of KFSK, the public radio station based in Petersburg, Alaska, about what's at stake for rural stations.
