Exxon Mobil $XOM has resumed purchases of Mars crude for August delivery after a brief halt caused by zinc contamination. The company had tapped into the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve to supply its Baton Rouge refinery during the pause. Chevron $CVX, operator of the offshore well that caused the issue, is actively working on a fix. 🛢️🔧🇺🇸
