So let’s join the dots as to why $ETH is suddenly of systemic importance.

The opening of 401(k) accounts to private market assets needs a whole new system of record to work.  That system is going to be based on tokenized representations of the assets in question.

And it is going to run on the Ethereum blockchain in the main.  

In the old days you paid AT&T in U.S. Dollars to handle database transaction processing.

Today you pay the Ethereum blockchain in Ether to handle gas fees.

Everything is token; token is Ethereum; $ETH is how you make tokenization pay.

I am long the Ether complex.  Which is now a thing.
