Liverpool have supposedly outbid Newcastle United for striker Hugo Ekitike, according to Florian Plettenberg. 

To be honest I'm not arsed. We will come in with a second bid no doubt and then it's over to Frankfurt. If no we move on. We may still sign him, we may not but either way we are keeping Alexander Isak and that's the more important thing for me!
