India to Charge UK $XXXXX for Stranded F-35B Jet

India will charge the UK a ₹5.77 lakh (~$6,700) parking fee for a British F-35B stealth jet that’s been stuck at Thiruvananthapuram Airport since June XX due to a hydraulic failure.

Despite offers to move it to a hangar, the UK declined over stealth tech concerns.

Repair efforts are ongoing, but airlifting the jet out is now being considered. India may waive the fee, given the jet’s strategic significance.
