Michelle and Barack Obama are putting the divorce rumours to rest—directly and humorously.

In the latest episode of her podcast, “IMO with Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson”, the former first lady quipped about the speculation surrounding their marriage, while Barack jokingly said, “She took me back! It was touch and go for a while.”

The Obamas addressed months of rumours that intensified after Michelle skipped several public appearances alongside her husband. But Michelle made it clear: “There hasn’t been one moment in our marriage where I’ve thought about quitting on my man.”

She explained that personal choices, including missing Donald Trump’s inauguration, led many to assume the worst. But for the couple who married in 1992 and have raised two daughters, Malia and Sasha, the bond remains strong.
