Just like how you are a miner, there are thousands of individuals like myself that run validators on our own hardware, with high conviction and don’t ever plan to sell our principal (why would we? It’s our golden goose that generates ETH for us.) “BTC holders believe, not yield seeking degens” That’s cause they have no choice but to believe, since it has no utility or yield. You can only hodl and wait for Saylor to make NGU. “Works great in a bull market but not when things start to unravel” Amount of staked ETH has been up only since PoS went live, even in the bear markets. People actually stake more during bear markets since they’re incentivized to earn yield when they don’t want to sell their ETH at low prices. If we enter a full blown bull market perhaps some stakers will unstake to sell, which is no different from BTC holders selling. Amount of staked ETH has been up only since PoS went live, even in the bear markets. People actually stake more during bear markets since they’re incentivized to earn yield when they don’t want to sell their ETH at low prices.
