During a meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, the IAEA Director General appreciated Riyadh's support for the Agency's missions in Iran.

He added: "I am grateful for Saudi Arabia's support to the IAEA, especially our activities in Iran."

The remarks come as the Islamic Consultative Assembly recently passed a law banning the entry of any inspector, including the IAEA director-general, from entering the country, suspending the installation of safeguards and extra-safeguards cameras, and reporting on Iran's nuclear activities to the IAEA
