$UNH post regarding Elevance earnings in the morning.

Have to assume that the expectations going in to the ER are pretty low already thanks to UNH, CNC.

$XXX strike is still crucial for UNH for 7/18. Decaying options deltas can act like a beach ball and float $UNH to the $XXX level.

However, given elevated risks at crucial spot ($290 support + $ELV earnings) I think switching positions from a full 1-delta (Ie. your shares) to ATM options is a very good risk mitigation tool.
