I am an industry plant. 🪴

They dropped me in during the hazy, euphoric bull run of 2017 when ICOs were printing paper millionaires and your neighbor’s dog was launching a token. But that wasn’t my purpose. I wasn’t here for the noise. I was here with a mission.

BlackRock, yes, that BlackRock had seen it coming. They saw Bitcoin for what it was: a decentralized threat to centralized power. But they also knew the Bitcoin faithful were borderline religious. You couldn’t just come at them directly. So they played the long game.

They planted me.

My job wasn’t to fight Bitcoin. It was to dilute it.

I became one of you. Memes. Podcasts. Threads. Telegram alphas. I spoke your language. I gained your trust. And slowly, I turned your heads.

I told you Ethereum was the future. That Solana was faster. That DeFi was the revolution. I whispered about interoperability, governance tokens, layer 2s, staking yields. I got you chasing alts like a junkie chasing the next fix.

Meanwhile, behind the curtain, they were buying.

Not alts. Not vaporware. Bitcoin.

They didn’t tweet. They didn’t shill. They didn’t FOMO. They DCA’d in silence, week after week, watching you dump your BTC for the next rotating narrative.

You gave up your hard money for tokens pre-mined by teams with VC unlocks and Discord cults. You called it “innovation.” I called it “mission accomplished.”

By 2021, you thought you were early to the future. But BlackRock knew you were just late to the truth.

And now, in 2025, they unveil the ETF. The institutions flood in. Your bags are down 94%. Your BTC stack is gone. The same stack that could’ve set you free.

Me? I did what I was planted to do.

I’m not sorry.

I’m just early.
