Bubba Wallace is back in the headlines — this time, for filing a lawsuit against NASCAR. The veteran driver, who’s no stranger to controversy, alleges he’s being unfairly targeted by the league because he’s Black.

🗣️ Wallace says NASCAR mishandled charter agreements with his team, 23XI Racing — the outfit co-owned by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin — and is calling the situation racially motivated.

👉 In the complaint, he even likens his experience to Colin Kaepernick’s battle with the NFL.
👉 NASCAR has responded, calling the suit “unnecessary and inappropriate.”
Let’s rewind:
🔹 Wallace led the charge to ban Confederate flags at races
🔹 Sparked national attention over a garage door rope later ruled not to be a noose
🔹 And has regularly faced backlash for mixing activism with racing

Now, the same organization that publicly backed him is being accused of discrimination. Some fans see this as a legitimate fight for equity. Others see it as another chapter in a growing trend of athletes using lawsuits to air personal grievances.
📅 A trial is scheduled for December. In the meantime, 23XI Racing is trying to block NASCAR from finalizing any new charter deals that don’t benefit their team.
👇 What’s your take? Is Wallace making a stand — or just making noise?
