Chaired a meeting regarding issues in the Mira-Bhayandar Assembly Constituency at Vidhan Bhavan, Mumbai today. Clear instructions were issued to accelerate the work of connecting the Y-shaped flyovers from Kashigaon Metro Station to Kashimira Naka, and from Miragaon to Kashigaon Metro Station with the main bridge. The main road from Kashimira Naka to the railway crossing in Mira-Bhayandar must be concretised at the earliest to improve durability and traffic flow. Considering the population growth in Mira Road, a new rationing office will be established. A proposal for creating XX posts will be submitted for setting up a new Sub-Registrar Office. The Municipal Corporation will prepare a comprehensive list of reserved plots, and any land meant for schools or public use must not be diverted. Any misuse, must be identified and stopped immediately. Reviewed progress of key projects like Bhayandar–Dahisar Link Road, Jesal Park–Ghodbunder Road in Bhayandar East, Surya Dam water supply scheme, cluster redevelopment plans, incentives for redeveloping dilapidated buildings, and the handover of State Transport Corporation’s unused land to the Municipal Corporation’s transport department. Officials of concerned department have been directed to ensure close coordination for time-bound execution and better civic infrastructure for citizens of Mira-Bhayandar.
